Mera Peak (6476m/21247 ft.) is the highest trekking peak in Nepal, situated in the Mahalangur Section. Mera Peak contains three main summits; Mera North, (6476m/21247 ft.), Mera Central (6461m/21198 ft.), and Mera South, (6065m/19898 ft.). Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Makalu, and Kanchenjunga can be seen clearly from the summit of Mera Peak.

Our Sherpa guides/trekking staffs are well known and familiar with the route and climbing program. Climbing and ascent to Ski in Mera Peak starts from Lukla flight from KTM and 5-6 days trekking follows through the forest, river and mountain villages. The nearest town form the Mera Base Camp is Khare situated at height of 5045m. It takes about 45 minutes from the base camp to Khare, which has well-managed hotels, Wi-Fi and electricity. Mera Peak is the best option for ski mountaineering and Heli skiing, which do not require any technical mountaineering skills. We have some expertise as the international ski instructors who have summited Mera peak and ski experience of more than 10-12 times.

Day 02: Sightseeing Kathmandu and preparation

Day 03: Fly to Lukla, trek to Paiya (Chutok) (2,730m/8,956ft.)

Day 04: Trek from Paiya to Panggom (2,846m/9,337ft.)

Day 05: Trek from Panggom to Ningsow (2,863m/9,393ft)

Day 06: Trek from Ningsow to Chhatra Khola (2,800m/9,186ft.)

Day 07: Chhatra Khola to Kothe (3,691m/12,109ft.)

Day 08: Kothe to Thaknak (4,358m/14,297ft.)

Day 09: Thaknak to Khare (5,045m/16,486ft)

Day 10: Acclimatization and pre–climb training in Khare

Day 11: Khare to Mera High Camp (5,780m/18,958ft): 6-7 hours

Day 12: Summit to Mera Peak [6,461m/21,192ft] descent to Khare by skiing

Day 13: Reserve Day for Contingency

Day 14: Khare to Kothe (3,600m/11,808ft.)

Day 15: Kothe to Thuli Kharka (4,300 m/14,107ft)

Day 16: Thuli Kharla to Lukla via Zatrwa La pass

Day 17: Fly back to Kathmandu


HST Admin: Your Trekking guide and climbing guide lead you on every step of the expedition. It starts from Kathmandu Airport to Expedition and Expedition to final departure. The office Admin will look after you on each day during the expedition period.

Trekking Period: 3-4 hr minimum to 5-6 hr maximum trekking. It depends upon the trekking route and days. We normally start walking at morning time, after having breakfast.

Meal: Three course of Meal During Trekking Period including breakfast, lunch and dinner with Tea, coffee and hot water.

Accommodation: Accommodation in Local Tea house and lodge during trekking period, which is up to Khare. And during climbing period, tent and all other services will manage by your climbing guide

Guide: Multiple time Mera Peak, Everest and other peak summiter will  be provided. We have highly experienced and government certified climbing guide.

Porter & Cargo: One porter guide will follow you on trekking period. And your climbing equipment will directly goes to Base Camp.

Climbing Period: We normally offer to stay in Khare for minimum 2 days for the better acclimatization then after we move to Base Camp for one night and next day you will reach to the summit of Mera Peak. Summit on foot and descent on skiing in the same day.

High Camp Management: We normally use dry foods, noddles item and soup for the high camp. And we provide thee course of meal at Base Camp, which we can hire from Khare. Your climbing guide will prepare best meal at high camp .

KTM Hotel Accommodation: 3-star hotel accommodation in Kathmandu with breakfast

Trekking Mode Hotel/Tea House: Teahouse accommodation during the trek
